Reflection: Beefeater Simulation Drawing

Simulation models are typically designed to capture some underlying mechanism or natural process. They differ conceptually from many standard statistical models (such as linear regression) whose aim is to empirically estimate the relationships between variables. The Beefeater Simulation model (Warren et al, 1996) more commonly known as the Beefeater restaurants Microworld, works on the tenet of balancing the challenges of developing and expanding a business for satisfying investors while maintaining the expected quality of the products and service being offered for the customers. The Microworld is a simulation models which is specified with respect to the functionality of the software, information and interfaced with other computational instruments, just like what can be seen in the Beefeater simulation drawing.
In General, I can say that all activities in the Beefeater Simulation model or drawing are noted to be well-managed and synchronised. Based on the main principle of this model, providing quality products and services among customers is the top priority of this strategy dynamics. The management should follow the whole idea of this simulation model of system or strategy dynamics to meet customer’s expectation,
The Beefeater simulation drawing is said to be easy to access because it provides participants a strategic method of starting a new restaurant chain. It also gives individuals the chance of accepting the challenge in existing business organisations. Furthermore, the Beefeater simulation model can also be noted as an excellent training instrument which explores the dynamic and vigorous resource based view of the organisations as development by Warren. The materials and information that has been illustrated is thus reserved to a minimum within the business requirements, hence, in this idea, the notion of dynamic complexity is well expressed.
